Our person and family-centered approach focuses on what has happened, not merely what needs to be “fixed,” so that we can process these events and promote the development of adaptive coping skills and repair broken connections. We are dedicated to providing trauma-sensitive services to promote healing in a safe environment. We understand how frightening it can be for a child to come into care and for a family to reach out for help and we respect the courage, personal accountability, and commitment change requires.
With a legacy of helping those most in need for over 100 years, Buckhorn Children and Family Services provides programs and services to youth and families that meet the highest standards, asking, “Is this what I would want for my own child? Is this how I would want my own family to be treated?”
